An Unplanned Hiking Blog

I had zero intention of doing this. This, as in a blog I mean. I've tried it before but I've had about as much success and interest in doing it, as I have interest in stubbing my pinky toe.
SO why am I doing this at? This is all born out of a casual conversation with a co-worker. Damn I really should be mad at him, but for the moment I'm not. But when he least expects it, I'm going to kick him in the shins, or do something to his coffee cup.
The reason this all happened is because...I'm headed to Portugal, to do the Camino Portuguese and of course THIS co-worker said, "Hey where are you going to post your pictures?" Yeah, so I hadn't planned on that at all. Maybe on Instagram? But I think Instagram would just be depressing. Why depressing? Because everyone wants "likes" on Instragram, but the people at Instagram realized that the "Likes" or lack there of was causing people to jump ship. So they gave you a way not show the number of likes. It's good for those people who get like 1 or 2, and those are just their friends who feel bad for them. Oh dear, I really have issues.
Okay, and also because not everyone has Instagram, and then, if I gave people my Instagram "handle" and then people I know, who I don't necessarily want following me on "The Gram" would know about it, and then it be a whole thing. Are you feeling me here?
So with all that in mind, here I am. Writing a blog post, with absolutely no clue what I'm doing. Seriously I don't know why this was so difficult for me to figure out.
It's less than a month before my Pilgrimage. I SO don't like that word, not so much the word, but the religious connotation that it carries. A pilgrim, is someone who travels to a sacred place for religious reasons. I'm certainly not doing it for that reason. I'm doing it because I have absolutely nothing else going on, and someone asked if I wanted to go, and after a lot of mulling it over in my head, I just said, why the fuck not. But!!! I'm not a Pilgrim, and I just have to say it in my head like John Wayne when I say or call someone else a "Pilgrim". Sorry, but if you know you know.
Next time I'll try to say something a bit more useful, like a list of all the stuff that I bought just for this "Pilgrimage". I'm already regretting that post and I haven't even written it yet.
Until next time, stay outta trouble, and if you can't do that. Don't get caught.

Whoever this co-worker of yours is, they are absolutely brilliant!
